The Friends of Danson Park ​bring you a free, family event in Danson Park where you can learn about wildlife in Bexley and how you can help it!


Activities include

  • Stalls with information displays about the work of the
    groups and charities and their plans for events in 2022

  • Opportunities to talk to volunteers from the Friends and
    Charities working for nature in Bexley

  • Two timed guided walks –

    • "Birds & nature" 8.30am

    • “Trees of Danson Park” 11.30am

  • "Wild Bexley" – a 50 minute presentation in Danson House by Ralph Todd on the diverse range of wildlife that can be found in Bexley 10.30am and 2pm (tbc)

  • Children’s art activities and quizzes

  • Tree trail

  • Children’s University destination

  • Wildlife of Danson Park photography display

* All events are free but because group sizes have to be limited on the walks and for the presentations it is advisable to pre book your place by emailing  friendsofdansonpark@gmail.com
