Become a Friend of Danson Park

Membership costs just £12 per household annually and will include

• Free admission and refreshments to 4 out of the 6 bi-monthly meetings,  held at The Boathouse, Danson Park, including  speakers on a variety of  subjects.

• Free participation in events such as the organised bird walk 

• Reduced charges for ticketed  social events organised by the Friends, eg annual Cheese and wine evening, quiz nights

• Opportunities to air and discuss within the group any perceived issues relating to the park

• Opportunity  at the AGM to vote annually for members to the Committee

100% of money raised through membership and fund raising will go towards

• Buying resources for environmental/ecological projects e.g. developing the woodland trail and  purchasing additional seeds, bulbs and plants for the park.

• Improving recreational facilities in the park e.g. purchasing of table tennis tables

• Hosting small, free musical events  performed by local musicians, choirs and performers

• Instigating a range of  activities  aimed specifically at children.
